The Grand Junction Regional Airport Authority has appointed Angela Padalecki as the new executive director of Grand Junction Regional Airport (GJT).
Padalecki, who currently works as director of airline affairs at Denver International Airport (DEN), previously functioned as senior advisor to DEN’s CFO. But it was her experience in non-aviation revenue growth that set her apart in the executive search.
During her career, Padalecki has been part of the team that founded the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. She has served as an economist for the Bureau of Economic Analysis, and she has worked for the Federal Reserve Bank in Denver. She holds a master’s degree in economics and finance from the University of Colorado, Denver, and she teaches as an adjunct instructor at community colleges on the Front Range.
“It is an exciting time for the Grand Valley and the Grand Junction Regional Airport,” says Padalecki. “The economy is improving, passenger traffic is on the rise, and infrastructure improvements are underway. The airport has strong leadership and vision from the board and incredible dedication from its employees. I am honored and excited to lead the Grand Junction Regional Airport and work with stakeholders to maximize the value of the airport to the community.”
