AAAE Honors Bart With Distinguished Service Award |

The American Association of Airport Executives has given its Distinguished Service Award to Krys Bart, president and CEO of the Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority.
The crystal award was presented to her recently at the authority’s board of trustees meeting by AAAE Chair Kelly Johnson, who called it “AAAE’s highest honor.”
“Recipients of this prestigious award are selected based on their outstanding accomplishments in their professional and personal life,” Johnson said.
John Farahi, CEO of the Atlantis and a former airport board member who
voted to hire Bart, said she has been a great asset to the community.
“As a businessman, I have to tell you I wish every agency in this community
had a capable, honest, hardworking, dedicated person that led the agency the
way Krys Bart has done with the airport authority,” he said. “I wanted to stand here today, Krys, and salute you for the incredible job you have done for this community.”
