Westfield opened 17 new locations at Terminal 3 at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX, as part of the ongoing $1.9 billion “Delta Sky Way” redevelopment project that began in May 2017. Westfield and Delta Air Lines have partnered with Los Angeles World Airports on the transformation of Terminal 3.
The 17 new locations includes eight new brands that are firsts in U.S. airports. Local dining options include local brews at Angel City Brewery, healthy snacks from LA Life, Santa Monica cuisine at Ashland Hill and Ashland Hill Bar, an upscale sports bar experience with The Parlor, global grab-and-go from Blue Window, and fresh California grab-and-go at earthbar.
The new retail and dining space boasts the premium accessory and electronics store Moshi. It also features three Hudson stores: Hudson LAXpress, Hudson News, Soundstage by Hudson. A number of new dining options are also available, including Deli & Co. and La Familia, along with household names like Panda Express, Shake Shack, Peet’s Coffee & Tea, and Starbucks.
“The completion of the Delta Sky Way at LAX is a few years away, but customers can expect to see new features and enhancements to Terminals 2 and 3 throughout the course of the project,” says Mary Loeffelholz, Delta’s vice president of corporate real estate in Los Angeles. “In the end, we want to offer a world-class customer experience at LAX, and these new, high-quality dining and shopping options are a fantastic start.”
