Airport terminal developer Westfield has added a new Miansai Mobile pop-up location at the Tom Bradley International Terminal at Los Angeles International (LAX). Miansai is an American brand with flagship retail locations in New York and California.
The pop-up retail is run out of a 1965 Piaggio truck – just one of the vintage units in the brand’s mobile retail fleet. The retail outlet sells a curated selection of signature jewelry and leather goods.
“There is no reason the retail experience at the airport can’t be every bit as exciting as it is on the street,” said Iris Messina, vice president of retail for Westfield Airports. “Pop-ups like this are a great way to give travelers a unique experience every time they come to the airport.
The store is expected to remain in the terminal through the end of this year.
