Eight new shops, restaurants and services have opened in Tampa International Airport (TPA) as part of its concessions redevelopment program.
Hudson Group opened two stores in Airside F: Tech on the Go, an electronics and travel accessories store, and Tampa Duty Free, a duty free/duty paid concept that sells fragrances, beauty products, sunglasses, confections and other items.
In Airside E, NewsLink Group has opened AirEssentials/InTune, a newsstand and convenience store with offerings that include coffee, local health and beauty brands, electronics and more. Additionally, Newslink has opened BookLink, a bookstore that also sells Coastal Home décor and Tebella tea.
Paradies Lagardère has opened Corsa Collections in Airside E. Corsa Collections sells high-end luggage, jewelry, sunglasses and other items from Kate Spade, Pandora, Brighton and other well-known brands.
Also in Airside E, Hojeij Branded Foods has opened Illy Caffè, a gourmet coffee shop that serves pastries from Tampa’s local Piquant bakery.
Terminal Getaway Spa, which offers massage and nail services, has opened in Airside E, and Cigar City Taproom, which serves tapas and craft beers from Tampa’s Cigar City Brewing Company, has opened in Airside F.
With these additions, TPA is now more than two-thirds of the way toward completing its concessions redevelopment program, which will have welcomed 69 concepts to the airport by the end of 2018. Local brands, such as Columbia and Cigar City, will represent 40 percent of the food and beverage options, and the airport’s participation in the Airport Concession Disadvantaged Business Enterprise program will have increased from three to 15 companies, bringing a wider variety of concessions to TPA.
